Story of POLICENAUTS
In 2010, construction of BEYOND COAST, the first space colony in human history completed.
Mankind began its large-scale advance into space.
3 years later, common citizens began their emigration to the colony, and five policemen who received space training were chosen to protect the moral among Beyonds.
Gatse Becker from Scotland Yard, Britain.
Joseph Sadaoki Tokugawa from the police bureau of Japan.
Salvatore Toscanini from New York City Police.
Then, Jonathan Ingram and Ed Brown from LAPD.
They, who were chosen from police forces all over the world, were called astronauts with police right - POLICENAUTS.
In 2013, shortly after joining Policenauts, runaway accident struck an EMPS (police suits for works outside the colony) during its test space walk! Jonathan the test pilot then was lost.
25 years later, he, who was a flotsam in outer space border, was miraculously rescued, and he returned to the earth alive.
---page 4
In 2040, in the filthy corner of OLD L.A (old Los Angeles), Jonathan Ingram is spending lonely days doing a private eye who is mostly a negotiator (who negotiates with kidnappers).
"Help me."
...Loraine, his divorced ex-wife who is now 55 years old, visits Jonathan
She says Kenzo Hojyo, her second husband has disappeared.
Kenzo Hojyo is a top-class engineer who works for Tokugawa Pharmacy in Beyond Coast.
The clues he left are, a torn leaf, medicine capsules and a strange word "Plato"...
In front of Jonathan who is reluctant to request of Loraine, someone murders her!
He finds "white blood", which suggests kind of synthetic blood, left in the scene.
Jonathan leaves for Beyond, the "space" once more to search for truth behind the scene.
Who turns up as the convict? Where is Hojyo?
And a huge plot gradually unveils itself...
Mega-awesome police actions run about on the space colony Beyond Coast!

Notes from translator:
1. Gothic is a Japanese bold font. Mincho is, on the other hand, similar to Times.
2. Old Los Angeles is on same location as L.A today, but in 2040, real L.A has moved to north.
3. "Pronunciation helps" are actually, more likely to indicate slang, referent terms or jokes.
4. Wide TV sets signify special kind of TVs available in Japan, that have wider compared to height.
5. "Discipline department" arrests illegal whores and such. But I don't know exact equivalent term in American police system.
6. Dave Forest is another staff below Ed.
7. "Gatse" in Gatse Becker is not a misspelling, but pronunciation is same as common English name "Gates".
8. Actual family symbol table needs graphics, needless to say.
9. Japanese pronunciation of "086-573" resembles "hello Konami".
