Disk version of version 1,3 is quietly under development, thanks for info from
Martos.
Manual version 2.0 is ready (May 18, 1998). There are no new graphics, but many
items are now much more comprehensible, thanks to tables and updated HTML codes.
English paragraphs mostly went Jon Taylor's severe proofreading process. Now
you can easily understand about ammunition limits and world
chronicle in Mgear world.
Portuguese translation is going on, by Daniel
Trezub, since March of 1998. Portuguese info page is here
.
Official announcements from me will be noticed up-to-date on G&T
Soft International Div. from now on. Please bookmark and check the page
often.
Marco Viet's map
contains all maps, along with that of Mgear1's.
- To all web page maintainers: Please upload only the newest version.
Latest version is ver. 1.21. Ver 2.00 is under
making, which will consist upper and lower case characters and far cooler speechlines.
:)
Spanish
version is now ready. Ask Ramon Ribas
for detail. :)
If you want Spanish
manual, see here.
If your site features downloads/articles related to this English Mgear2 (such
as Marco's map
site), please contact me. I shall link to your
site, to hasten the download process for the MSX/fMSX users living close to
you!!
Ver 1.21 (turbo-R supported) is released!
Please throw old ver 1.0 and 1.1 away immediately
(but leave the cool label you bought in Tilburg or Barcelona;) and download
NOW!!
DOWNLOAD VER 1.20 => VER1.21 PATCH (1.6 KB)
This LOADER.PRG is a correct loader for MSX which safely boots files in
ver 1.20. If you have downloaded ver. 1.20 before, just download this. Downloading
ver. 1.21 whole again is a waste of time ;)
Changes since version 1.1:
- Most upgrading was done to .dsk version for MSX.
- More spellings were corrected. Thank Jorrith
Schaap for pointing out "crevass". It's now "crevice".
- R800 booting on turbo-R is possible.
- Also a lot of others. Click here for details.
