"65535th divine clone"
Sumeragi (sumeragi="archaic emperor")
Sumeragi, before releasing False bubble burst
From back, arm unseen (Sumeragi usually keeps
his arms hidden)
Close-up of Sumeragi's face.
Real face.
(600 years before)
Clan : Silver Swallowtail
Gender : Male
Age : 2000. Looks like 32 years without beards.
Height : 175 cm
Weight : 0 kg
Hair : White (actually black)
Eyes : Silver
Wings : None
Role : Ruler of the fairyland the 65535th
divine king.
In Japanese calls himself as : washi, watashi
(depending on situation)
Nickname invented by the Dreamdiver : 'Fisher (omitting "King")
Example of speeches :
"We still have a final option."
"Ginji! He betrayed me in the end!"
"Leave him. All is as I planned."
Special technique :
False bubble burst
Sumeragi employs bubble burst (employed by
Yumemashougun)-like attack using his hands,
but manstopping power is inferior.
True bubble burst
Sumeragi could use this 600 years before.
He needs Nap Sword for this. Devastation
power far exceeds Bubble burst of Yumemashougun.
Highest person in the Fairyland. He has a
power to control facts by his will alone,
and can even (though rarely) adjust death
and life of fairies. All successors of Fairykings
are clones of Yumekazu the divine Creator,
and Sumeragi is the 65535th clone. He somehow
knows (though he does not tells to others)
and is badly irritated by the fact he is
the supposed last descendant in the line
of fairykings.
Sumeragi once was a splendid direct combatant,
but he is now quite feeble since he gave
most of his power to Yumemashougun upon her
reincarnation into the fairy world.
600 years before, Sumeragi, who gained the
boy Ginji who was flotting the borders between
worlds, but was suddenly invaded by Minions
of Muscle. He solved the situation by borrowing
powers from Dreamdiver in future and also
Imperial Creatures in 600-years-earlier era
and thus reincarnation of Yumemashougun.
600 years later, upon knowing attack of Yumemashougun,
he realizes this is the time to resurrect
the Dreamdiver to send the energy to save
Sumeragi himself in past.
...That is what the game "Hypnotic City"
is about.
Though the palace is Sumeragi's everyday
residence, he sometimes hold Silver Swallowtail
Conclave in Insomniac Hall, a space 10000
km above the ground. Iroyume is accusing
him greatly since Yumemashougun had realized
her identity and fled. Iroyume, Hagane and
Akagane talk to Sumeragi almost like equal.
In most of the time, he avoid expressing
his own opinions and let fairies self-rule.
His beards and bald heads are actually artificial.
He looks much more villainous and handsome
without them.
After massacre of Iroyume, Akagane and Hagane
by hand of Yumemashougun, Yumemashougun pours
Bubble Burst onto Sumeragi, and she assumes
him to be dying. However, Sumeragi only feigned
dead. He rises to destroy fairy world by
his own hands. Then Marquis de Hentai suddenly
appears before him; instinct as a fairyking
tells Sumeragi that Sumeragi, the ruined
being, is standing in front of the God, and
Sumeragi self-dissipates into an oblivion.
About drawing :
Under his wise-old-man beard, his visage
is quite severe, resembling Saito Hajime
in Ruroni Kenshin the manga.
Rumor insists that inside of his clothing
(which is totally white) is empty, but if
you really need to draw, make him look like
Japanese people in Yayoi (300 AD) era.
His adorned vest-like clothing is green,
as shown in the picture.
He is SUPPOSED to look like sleeveless and
armless when he is not using his hands. Make
sure to draw him armless, therefore.
Without beards and bald wigs, he looks like
Saito Hajime
in Ruroni Kenshin the manga.
From designer :
Sumeragi was invented in very early stage
of development. Though he never deviated
being a ruler of the kingdom, but in the
process, he became a terrible villain who
possess physique of the Keeper. There were
several more turns later, and now he is a
bastard of no value.
Though his outlook never changed, but at
one point, I decided Big Boss
in Metal Gear 2 to be his base, since he
shares "final betrayal" in common
with Sumeragi. Sumeragi is now not a final
betrayer, though.
Though I tried to put some of Ikari Gendo
of Evangelion in Sumeragi, but as the result,
there is almost nothing in common.
