The Keeper lets creature exposing their canine teeth dash against her enemy.
The
Keeper is the fairy who happened to fight with Minions of Muscle in the world
600 years earlier. Her job is to keep Imperial Creatures, the embodiment of
dream power, who were present all over the fairyland. The Keeper uses her magic
wand to herd the creatures. The Keeper speaks like those "maho shojo"
in animes like CC Sakura or Sailor Moon speak.
After fleeing from Minions of Muscle who raided her village all by sudden, she
began her quest, together with her twin sister the Grappler who dragged the
Keeper along forcibly, to destroy Marquis de Hentai, the enemy she assumed to
be present in her time. Later, she met Sumeragi and Silver Swallowtails.
Akagane told the Keeper to summon all of the Imperial Creatures around her.
Then the reincarnation energy arrived from the Dreamdiver Ginji in future, via
the human's world, transcending time and space, finally to Mujinkun who then
went haywire and shot reincarnation energy against mass of concentrated
creatures and the Keeper. This caused appearance of Rei Lightbringer in this
world, and also disappearance of the Keeper from this world. Genocide in the
600-years future at the same time meant end of the War of the Minions in the
past world, since will of future fairies could no more arrive through the time
loop.
Her sister, the Grappler never forgot this incident, nor she ever forgave
Sumeragi.
In the 600-years later world, statue of the Keeper stands in Hypnotic City to
commemorate her, as the hero who saved the world.
A moment before Kamako beheads Yumemashougun, consciousness as the Keeper
briefly returns in Yumemashougun. She then dies crying "help me
sister...!!".
About drawing :
Common with the Keeper : Two fragile golden rings wrap around each
of wrists. Shoes are primsoles, thongs wrap around shins, and knee is covered
by target plate with golden rim and red inner circle. Belt is grey. In her
back, there is a wide opening in clothing to expose wings.
Difference with the Keeper : Gloves are bright red. Colors of the clothes are
as in the drawings.
Designer :
The Keeper was a second central character (Yumeko Gluttony), and
therefore has a lot of graphics drawn, but she was most flat of all characters
(thus was most redundant), so I sent her to past together with the Grappler and
stripped her of name.
I miss the magnificent outlook of the Keeper, who even exceeds beauty of
Fujisaki Shiori in Tokimemo the Konami game, thanks to GFXer's skill.
In the totally different game that she was supposed to appear in early stage of
development, she was ought to release Imperial Creatures locked in bubbles
through magic, in cooperation with the Grappler. Note at that time, the Keeper
had a role to kill Yumemashougun, and Bubble Burst that Yumemamshougun employed
was the magic to reflect magic bubbles back.
Like the Grappler, I hope I'll be able to build her tales thoroughly someday.
