This long stage is first half of the battling second chapter of story. Stages 7 and 8 depict battle of Ginji against his old self - evil and handsome Dreamdiver Ginji. Most of story takes place around Mujinkun, the 200 meters high robot which lost functionality in stage 6.
Stages 7 is much more serious compared to Marquis-centered stages 1, 2, 5 and 6. You find Ginji's valiant determination, and also Tamako's submitted kindness.
Yumemashougun, the poor neglected form of the Keeper, shows up, but is unable to act effectively.
Note though Kamako does not appear even once in Stage 7, her name is mentioned twice - once as part of Ginji's stupid dream, and secondarily as teller of rumor which drove Yumemashougun mad.

Stage 7 also introduces Jigumo, the only fairy in the story who is born and raised in Hypnotic City. Jigumo, a commoner despite his striking red skin and eyes, presents one of important thoughts seen in Hypnotic City. Hataraki, the tiny and powerful Ant who briefly appeared in stage 5, now plays more larger role. In final part of stage 7, glimpse of Tenten is visible. Sasuyo, Nomu and Kiru are also found spending their time nonseriously inside Dream gun barrel, which fell off the ground in stage 6.

"The Sinless Evil" describes Dreamdiver Ginji. You must wait until stages 10 and ending to find out true identity of Ginji, a being from external world.
