This is the list events related to Hypnotic City, in chronological order. Some of them are described in story, but others are not.

<<Birth of the Fairyworld>>
Yumekazu, the fool god, creates Fairyland, the world behind human world.
Yumekazu creates fairies - insect-like people who magically aids humans.
Yumekazu dies as first Fairyking. Fairyking dynasty begins, next heir being clone of previous dead king.

<<Fairyworld incorporates other worlds>>
One of fairykings defeats Iroyume, ruling princess of Sense world. Iroyume becomes ally.
One of fairykings persuades Akagane, king of the beasts. Akagane becomes ally. Imperial creatures begin to inhabit fairyland.
One of fairykings modifies Hagane, motherboard who rules Matter world. Hagane becomes ally.
Somehow, fairykings and other ex-gods begin to meet in place called Insomniac Hall, 10000 km above the ground.

<<War of the Minions>>
Instinct of Sumeragi, the 65535th fairyking tells that he is the last line in the dynasty.
Sumeragi meets Dreamdiver Ginji, the being who dwell within gap between worlds. Dreamdiver Ginji agrees to cooperate Sumeragi.
In order to incorporate human world, Sumeragi tells Dreamdiver Ginji to dreamdive.
Dreamdiver Ginji goes through human world and then reaches 600 years later Fairyland. He manages to advance to 2nd stage of dreamdive process.
Establishment of conduit between future and past; spirits of future fairies arrive in forms of Minions of Muscle.
Pervert energy of Marquis de Hentai arrive. Minions of Muscle recognize themselves as servant of Marquis.
Several Minions raid the hut where twin sisters the Grappler and the Keeper dwell. They narrowly escape the scene.
Sumeragi, unable to speculate why Minions emerged, orders his regular troops to fight back minions, to no decisive victory.
Hagane builds Mujinkun the 200m robot as reinforcement against minions.
Sumeragi feels he should concentrate all Imperial creatures at one place to achieve victory. He finds the Keeper.
Akagane tells the Keeper to summon all Imperial creatures.
*1 Dreamdiver Ginji manages to complete full 3 stages of dreamdive. He converts death of all future fairies into "reincarnation energy" and conducts it to past.
Mujinkun absorbs reincarnation energy and then shoots it toward the Keeper and Imperial creatures.
Imperial creatures and reincarnation energy react each other.
Hagane contains reaction into shape of armor, since human essence is harmful to beings in fairy world.
Sumeragi pours his own energy over the armor. A polymerization of the Keeper/death of future fairies/imperial creatures/human essence/Sumeragi is born, identifying itself as Rei Lightbringer.
Dreamdiver Ginji returns from dreamdiving and reappears in current time/plane.
Sumeragi turns Dreamdiver Ginji into a powerless old man and strips off his memory to silence him, cover up fault of Sumeragi himself and to prevent Dreamdiver Ginji from changing course of history anymore.
Sumeragi keeps bandana of Dreamdiver Ginji as a token to release Dreamdiver Ginji out of Ginji someday.
Conduit between present and 600-years future closes. Minions of Muscle disappear because all future fairies are dead. Pervert energy of Marquis ceases, convincing everyone that he is now defeated.
All imperial creatures are gone, resulting in total isolation between fairyland and human world.
Sumeragi loses almost any divine power because he used all of it to reincarnate Rei and to neutralize Ginji.
Iroyume decides to found a capital city over where the keeper transformed into Rei.
Surviving fairies begin to build capital city - Hypnotic City.
Hagane stores Mujinkun in Mumin Glen, the volcano near the city.
Sumeragi appoints Rei as Yumeshogun (dream general) and keeps her near him all the time, convincing her she is the third Silver Swallowtail beside Sumeragi and Ginji.

<<Post-War of the Minions>>
Sumeragi dismantles most of his regular militaries, leaving nominal 100 Royal Guards.
Fairies rapidly lose magical power, including their ability to fly. Their behaviors and philosophy gradually dissolve into the ones no different than humans.
Old Ginji becomes caretaker of new palace.
Sumeragi appoints the Grappler as first Mayor of Hypnotic City.

<<10 years after War of the Minions>>
Hagane devises dekus, the androids which would replace living fairies.
Hagane builds prototype (first) deku.
Sumeragi finds out Hagane's plot. Angry Sumeragi throws Prototype deku down volcanic Mumin Glen.
The Grappler decides to die as the imposter of Prototype deku. The Grappler tells Prototype deku to prevent future person (Dreamdiver Ginji) from sending reincarnation energy to the Keeper.
The Grappler plunges into hot lava and dies.
Hagane salvages Prototype deku and conceals it near Mujinkun.

<<4 years before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Kamako meets Tenten.
Kamako cuts the grasses for Tenten.
Tenten serves Kamako cold apple-flavored milk, which impressed Kamako.

<<1.5 year before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Tamako arrives to Hypnotic City, initially as a bagpiper, then converts to Loyal Phalanx (part of Royal Guard) spearman.

<<1 year before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Sasuyo arrives as a new recruit of Loyal Phalanx and becomes Tamako's roommate.

<<6 months before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Sumeragi makes appointment with Kamako the freelance stormtrooper. Kamako arrives to the palace.
Kamako found resentment in Rei, whom Kamako regarded as an immortal being with maximum magic power and few combatting endowment.
Sumeragi cunningly tells Kamako "rumor" of Rei that Rei is his offspring with human blood in her. Kamako instantly brags it to Rei.
Rei catches insanity, and flees. Sumeragi makes no attempt to track her. Iroyume protests Sumeragi's action.

<<3 months before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Grief-stricken Rei flies near Mumin Glen.
Forgotten memory of what the Grappler said to Prototype deku 590 years earlier causes time-spatial reaction with Rei's grief. Reproduction of dekus begin.
Possessed by remain of 600-years earlier fairy spirits, dekus begin marauding fairies.
Rei calls herself Yumemashougun (demonic dream general), and begins her invasion to devastate fairyland, and to destroy Sumeragi. Though seemingly self-contradicting, Sumeragi instinctively knows all of these events are converging at one point - dreamdive catastrophe and took all the events for his glad.
Fairies, scattered and disorganized, are no match for collective moves of deku hoards, and perish like flies. Uninvaded fairies seldom did anything to stop invasion, though. Some of them even regarded dekus as pretty toys.
Nezumiko, the Grasshopper businesswoman, commercially releases deku trading cards.

Marquis de Hentai (reborn Yumekazu), a young Cockroach man is now one of court servants when no one is actually conscious of. Though people found peculiarity in his name, which is same as that of heinous felony who tried to conquer the world 600 years before, no one seriously thinks him as the real Marquis.
Marquis exhibits one pervert attitude after another.
Marquis publishes a yaoi doujinshi "Silver Swallow-my-xxxxs" which feature extrahandsome young and Sumeragi and Ginji doing gay. Sumeragi, aghast with the fact that Marquis knew Ginji is not an old man he seems, grew rage. Marquis then flees to somewhere.

<<From a few weeks before to one day before Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Sumeragi is now aware that appearance of Marquis before him is the harbinger of catastrophe.
Sumeragi orders entire feasible fairies (especially non-humanoid clansmen) to arrive to Hypnotic City to fight. Not many answered his call, though. Sumeragi did not expect much; he expected them to last until Dreamdive.
Nomu and Kiru leaves their homeland to meet Sasuyo.
Nusumi, the Nezumiko's peer, decides to capture dekus and sell them to girl doll lovers.
Sumeragi tells residents of Hypnotic City to evacuate.
Rei and swarming dekus approach Hypnotic City. Defenders, including Jigumo the spider and Hataraki the ant, wait in streets of Hypnotic City.
Hagane sends Kamako to her bio laboratory located on the seashore 250 km far from Hypnotic City in order to clone Kamako. Hagane thought she could reproduce the way which fairykings spring their heir.
Sumeragi, without Hagane's permission, orders Ginji to take Tamako to Mumin Glen and seat her in cockpit of Mujinkun.

<<Hypnotic City Defense War>>
Sumeragi, Ginji, Iroyume, Akagane and Hagane gather in Insomniac Hall. As always, Iroyume "monitors" what's going down the ground by making images out of her bodily paint.
Marquis in his magical submarine bumps into belly of cliff which has the bio lab on top, halting cloning experiment in the middle. Kamako pounces on Marquis. Marquis then turns submarine into massive amount of soapy foam. He travels to Hypnotic City riding the soap foam.
Nomu and Kiru drags Sasuyo out of the palace where she was supposed to be guarding.
Marquis meet Sasuyo and asks Sasuyo for match of "drunken sexy martial arts". Sasuyo accepts, but Marquis beats Sasuyo easily.
Nusumi, Nezumiko, plus two other Grasshopper thieves Mira and Toro arrive to Hypnotic City in order to loot the city when its residences are evacuating.
Deadly attack of dekus begin. Dekus and defenders fight fiercely.
Marquis meets Nusumi, and asks for underwear thieving contest. Nusumi agrees. Marquis snatches all the underpants that Disguised Bagpipers, part of Sumeragi's defense force, are wearing.
Kamako, who tracked Marquis, joins battle against dekus.
Hagane demands Sumeragi to launch Mujinkun. Sumeragi orders Tamako to take off.
Tamako dashes to Hypnotic City. Marquis emerges inside cockpit of Mujinkun and shows off pervert attitude. Tamako presses emergency button. Mujinkun self-explodes, flinging cockpit and Tamako down the ground, and immobilizes itself.
Dream gun, huge weapon attached of Mujinkun, falls on ground.
Rei kills one defender after another with her magic.
Jigumo entangles Rei with his steadfast cobwebs.
While Iroyume, Akagane and Hagane are distracted at the scene, Sumeragi dispatches Ginji down to the ground, together with black bandana of which Ginji has lost memory of possession.
Ginji meets Marquis. Ginji puts on black bandana. Form of Dreamdiver Ginji leaves Ginji and soars up the sky. Ginji falls unconscious.
Dreamdiver Ginji begins dreamdiving process, raining shower of disasters all over the fairyland. Dreamdiver Ginji is impervious, since no one other than himself can enter his trans-dimensional domain.
Disaster also hits farming village of Tenten. Tenten strangely feels compelled to save Kamako.
Tenten leaves her village, riding her farming vehicle.
*1 Dreamdiver Ginji completes dreamdiving. All of the fairies other than Sumeragi die. Dreamdiver Ginji converts their death into reincarnation energy and sends it to 600 years past.
Jigumo, harassed by disasters, looses his grip on Rei.
Rei hovers up the sky and talks briefly with Dreamdiver Ginji, who talks more accurate fact (than Kamako's manipulated tale) about her birth.
Old Ginji regains his consciousness but hurts his aging waist. Ginji somehow feels urge to stop Dreamdiver Ginji he has no idea of, asks Tamako to carry him to top of immobilized Mujinkun. Tamako reckons, and takes him to top.
Jigumo, Hataraki, Sasuyo, Nomu and Kiru seek shelter in sturdy barrel of Dream gun.
Ginji pounces on Dreamdiver Ginji, easily stripping him of immune barrier.
Ginji orders Marquis to shoot him together with Dreamdiver Ginji he is securing. Marquis shoots out massive bolt of pervert energy.
Pervert energy reaches as high as Insomniac Hall.
Mira goes to Mumin Glen, and excavate Prototype deku.
Mira brings Prototype deku back to Nusumi in Hypnotic City (Grasshopper clanswomen can travel supernaturally fast).
Nusumi touches Prototype deku's ears. Prototype deku recognizes Nusumi as its first Master, and soars up the sky together with Nusumi.
Absence of Mujinkun's weight causes water beneath rocks of Mumin Glen to gush out, and to flood Hypnotic City.
Akagane, seeing too much of Sumeragi's cruelty, revolts. Iroyume and Hagane join him. Sumeragi does not argue.
Akagane tries to tell fairies in Hypnotic City to help Old Ginji through electron-mail sender attached to Hagane. The message hits Nusumi. However, auto-feedback function of the sender translates his words into "once you wear the cosmetic bandana, you become as handsome as Dreamdiver Ginji!".
Nusumi decides to steal bandana.
To save others from drowning in flood, Hataraki, with her supernatural strength, throws Dream gun with Jigumo and Sasuyo inside high up the sky.
Nomu and Kiru fall out of Dream Gun. They find a floating log, though.
Mira, Nezumiko and Toro cling to Prototype to escape from flooding water.
Dream gun collides Prototype deku. Mira, Nezumiko and Toro loses grip with shock; velocity of dream gun whisk them away together.
Nusumi snatches bandana.
Dreamdiver Ginji perishes.
Jigumo, from inside of Dream gun, extends his gossamer and attach himself to Mujinkun.
Jigumo's catches Old Ginji in mid-air with gossamer.
Rei meets Ginji. Ginji casually tells her location of Insomniac Hall (though he surficially assumes he is loyal to Sumeragi, his subconscious nature as supernatural being has no respect to Sumeragi).
Tenten approaches Hypnotic City. Meanwhile, stream of flood carries away Kamako to a spot near Tenten.
After flight, Dream gun, with Sasuyo, Mira, Nezumiko and Toro, hits Tenten's farming vehicle.
Thanks to Hagane's strange technology, Dream gun transforms itself into huge life-saving boat by meeting with farming vehicle.
Tenten saves Kamako.
Rei reaches Insomniac Hall to kill Sumeragi, who had been lying to her all along.
Hagane removes sealing armor from Rei's entity.
Though Akagane knows he cannot discourse the fate, he desperately charges toward bare Rei.
Human substance in Rei kills Akagane upon contact.
Cornered Hagane, already feebleminded by defeat of Mujinkun and by having Prototype deku stolen, suicides by exploding herself.
Flying debris of exploded Hagane hurts Iroyume.
Iroyume tries to attack oncharging Rei by her paint which enables Iroyume to observe molecular particles through it, thus destroying them as laws of physics demand.
Rei easily gets past Iroyume's paint mist and stabs her dead.
Sumeragi, who had been calm all the while Rei was massacring his ministers, tries to fight with False Bubble Burst, the art he ekes out of meager magic remaining in him.
Rei discharges True Bubble Burst, the art she inherited from Sumeragi 600 years ago. True Bubble Burst easily nullifies False Bubble Burst.
Sumeragi dons deadman's disguise, which is lined with iron and is attack-proof, at last minute. He pretends he is mortally wounded.
On end of the flow of pervert energy bolt, Marquis arrives to Insomniac Hall.
Marquis invites Sumeragi and Rei for pervert party but they, in deadly serious situation, fail to notice him.
Sumeragi confesses the truth to Rei. Sumeragi also declares that since Dreamdive is aborted, Rei can no longer exist.
Afraid, Rei falls down to the ground.
Desperate Sumeragi decides to kill all surviving fairies by himself, in vain illogical hope to discourse the history.
Marquis strips off Sumeragi's deadman's disguise, and reveals that Sumeragi is unwounded.
Instinct as fairyking finally tells Sumeragi that Marquis is Yumekazu.
Excessive shame in Sumeragi causes him to perish into oblivion.
Dekus, other than Prototype deku, lose life.
Life-saving boat, with Kamako, Tenten, Sasuyo, Mira, Nezumiko and Toro on board, enters Hypnotic City.
Kamako spots Rei falling down from the sky. Kamako leaps to kill Rei.
Rei regains memory as the Keeper.
Kamako decapitates Rei (= the Keeper). The Keeper dies.
