The grappler endows her body with magic to turn it into killing tool.

The Grappler is the fairy who fights Minions of Muscle in the world 600 years earlier. The Grappler is a master of enchanted martial art, and uses every part of her body to smash down her enemies. The grappler habitually smiles wistfully with her teeth exposed. The Grappler uses coarse language, favoring "drop dead!" term.
After beating Minions of Muscle who raided her village all by sudden, she began her quest, together with her twin sister the Creature Keeper she dragged out forcibly, to destroy Marquis de Hentai, the enemy she assumed to be present in her time. Later, she met Sumeragi and Silver Swallowtails and destroyed one Minion after another, but was cornered in the end by sheer difference of number.

In the 600-years later world, statue of the Grappler stands in Hypnotic City to commemorate her, the hero who saved the world. Prototype deku has green hair because Hagane wanted her dummy to liken the strength of the Grappler.

After War of the Minions was ended by sacrifice of the Grappler's sister, Sumeragi made the Grappler first mayor of Hypnotic City that he founded over the barren field where War of the Minions ended. The Grappler never forgot what Sumeragi did to her sister, though. 10 years after the War, Sumeragi threw Prototype deku (that Hagane developed) down active volcano (Mumin Glenn). Grappler, knowing that fairies are quickly becoming short of magical power (longevity, flying ability...), decided to bestow hope in the ever-living Prototype Deku. The Grappler told the Prototype to someday stop whoever would send reincarnation energy to the Keeper, then she kicked the Prototype out of volcano. Then the Grappler herself fell into and melted to death in the hot larva, while her green hairs were enough to delude Sumeragi that Prototype Deku was the one melted.

About drawing :
Common with the Keeper : Two fragile golden rings wrap around each of wrists. Shoes are primsoles, thongs wrap around shins, and knee is covered by target plate with golden rim and red inner circle. Belt is grey. In her back, there is a wide opening in clothing to expose wings.
Difference with the Keeper : Gloves are white. Colors of the clothes are as in the drawings.

From designer :
The Grappler was an initial central character called Kumoko Gluttony, thus she has largest number of graphics drawn. However, she could hardly vie other ever-so-twisted characters, so I finally sent her to "past". Weak personality of the Grappler as the central character is like Misumaru Yurika in Nadesico, or Bakabon the son in Tensai Bakabon... (wry smile)
The Grappler was meant to be strongest in close combat among all characters, but some people like Kamako was just too great...

In ealier story, the Grappler sometimes meddled with Tamako and Kamako who share same time axis then. But when I invented the Grappler the direction of game was totally difference, so she was only described to be "violent", and she never had solid information about her past and recognizable way of speech. In another word, her character is too flat.

The Grappler is an insinuating character toward observer, so I decided to make look her amusing by starring her seldom, like case of Laguna in Final Fantasy 8. She became nameless to "decrease thickness as personality". I hope someday I'll be able to build detailed tales of the world 600 years earlier.
