Ginji reduces his self mass to 0, and moves as if he is sliding.
He then releases a volley of auto-repeating crossbow shots.

Ginji is a good-tempered old man who lives in the palace. He usually speaks weathered cockney (in Japanese, he occasionally uses "dya" instead of "ja"). He has strong habit to call anyone with nickname he invented by himself, like calling Sumeragi "'Fisher" just because he is king.
Since Ginji is the only Silver Swallowtail whom commoners can see beside Sumeragi, people pay him certain resepct. Ginji himself sometimes shouts "Don't forget that the I'm a highest clan!" when he gets on his nerve, but of course this saying is greeted by wry smile.
He is usally doing domestic works like cleaning and cooking (he hates giving and receiving orders so he has not staffs below him), but he too attends the talks which Silver Swallowtails have inside the Insomniac Hall.
However, he is rather mean to other Silver Swallowtails (you can tell it from the way he calls Akagane "Loser doggy-dog"), and during talk table, he is blissfully sleeping whil standing upright.
He is conscsious of the way Silver Swallowtails are regarding him "that Dreamdiver...", though direct memory as dreamdiver is lost from him.

Ginji is short and thin. He is usually found walking with leaned back and his arms folded behind. He rarely leaves the palace often.
Ginji is friendly with another befuddled being Tamako, and Ginji treats unsocial Tamako equally. Ginji is recently interested to butts of Kamako (Ginji is always keeping apple-flavored milk cooled for her) despite of his age, and some days before, he was seen carried away to hospital moaning "Kamakama-san seems to extremely dislike primary physical contact." (laughter).
Ginji is still treating Yumemashougun as former Yumeshogun. Ginji calmly accepts appearance of Marquis de Hentai as "Long time no see bloke." His internal high potential is resulting in his this fearless attitude.

Ginji, whose Dreamdiving ability is gone now, has almost no combatting abilty, but in times of strifes, he employs repeating crossbow. Ginji believes Sumeragi bestowes him serious reponsibility to protect the Royal Guards, so he bravely confronts his enemy "don't you dare to touch the girls!".
His only superhuman ability is Stealthy Step, which allows him to decrease his mass to 0, and to approach enemy instantly.

As useless information, his underwear is Ecchu fundoshi, a traditional shorts which consists a frontal-guard cloth and a pair of strings to wrap around his wave.

About drawing :
Ginji's facial structure is stark different from the dreamdiver. Even his hair is aged and worn. But keep in mind that the locational relations between facial parts, like the proximity between his mouth and nose, remain same with the dreamdiver. If Ginji proves troublesome to draw, refer Fuyutsuki in Evangelion, who is rumored to be a clone of Kaworu.
Though his eyes are simply drooped slits most of the times, in special occasions like when he gains consciousness, his eyes open wide and clean (see the drawing) exactly like the dreamdiver's.
Beneath his robe, he is dreassed like Rion Lafarre in Virtua Fighter 2 (not 3 or later). In earlier stage of development, Ginji could regain his youth, and was supposed to fight in shorts-and-shirts when in youth form.
Ginji has a habit to fold his arm behind his back, compared to the dreamdiver's habit to stick his hands into his pockets.

From designer :
I invented Ginji when I reflected that Nagisa Kaworu in Evangelion would be a really good senile man 60 years later.
What you should keep in mind is that core of Ginji is still the Dreamdiver Ginji. Ginji in fact has extremely high pride in fact, but his age makes his way to be proud look really laughable. Also, though Ginji believes by himself that he is loyal to Sumeragi, but Ginji's attitude hints that Ginji almost does not respect Sumeragi at all. However, Ginji is certainly not a leader type, so he cannot presides over the fairyland after Sumeragi's death. Perhaps in some part of him, he acknowledges that he is subordinate character.
The way he treats other kindly is the part where those who saw Evangelion on TV wished Kaworu to possess exclusively, without his evil part.
The part where Ginji has nap for no reason or let his temper erupt quick are merely stereotypical of old man.
Ginji does not die. The best life which suits Ginji is as an old man who spend his remaining days, getting away from his past.
