Specification Requirements and Startup Procedure

The minimum specifications required to play Bombaman is a MSX2/2+/turboR with VRAM128KB, internal RAM 128KB and one disk drive.
Almost all Japanese MSX2 and 2+ have only RAM64KB, therefore in Japan, this game is safely considered turboR only.
This game runs on some emulators, but fails on the others.

As for the sound, FM module, MSX-AUDIO and MOONSOUND (a non-Japanese standard) are supported. You can enjoy realistic soundeffect if you use MOONSOUND.

To start up, boot your MSX when Disk A is in its disk drive, then the game starts automatically.

If you want to play on a large capacity media such as a harddisk, copy all files in Disk A and Disk B into a single folder, then enter;
> BOMBAMAN
from the MSX-DOS command.
