Bombaman Basic Rule
- Both the player and enemies can move within the map to four directions;
up, down, right and left.
- The player cannot move over a bomb or an obstacle.
- Most enemies cannot move over an obstacle, but others can.
- Most enemies cannot move over a bomb, but others eat and delete the bomb
then move over.
- In the boss levels, "bullet"s may come flying.
- In the boss levels, "turret" obstacles may shoot a "bullet".
- A bomb explodes after a certain time since it was placed.
- If the player has acquired a detonation item
previously,
the bomb explodes by pressing B shot. In this case, the bomb does not explode
by timer.
- When a bomb explodes, the flames extend up, down, right and left with the
bomb being the ground zero. The flame length varies depending on the items
taken so far.
- The flame destroys the enemies, players and items,
ignites the bombs, then continues to extend. Be careful not to destroy important
items.
- When the flame hits a destructible obstacle, that wall is blown away, while
the flame ends there.
- When the flame hits an indestructible obstacle, the flame ends one character
before the wall.
- The flame does not destroy bullets, and continues to extend after colliding
a bullet.
- When a wall is destroyed, an item may show up.
- Effective duration of an item is limited to the level it was found.
- The player is defeated either of the following cases.
- Gets caught in a flame.
- Contacts an enemy.
- The timer displayed in top of the screen
goes
out.
- Is buried by a wall that appears in the multi player mode match.
